A main difference is that while this older page features video files linked individually down the page - with broken links appearing over time - on the new page they are all included in a single large playlist window.
Formed in New Zealand in 1977, Mi-Sex (also spelt MiSex) began as an 'oi-punk-rock' styled group who soon transformed into post-punkNew Wave Rock at the cutting edge of using synthesizers and futuristic themes in their music; a precursor to the cyberpunk electronic (industrial) dance rock bands that were to come many years later. They moved to Sydney Australia in 1979 and became one of the country's most popular bands for several years, winning several music industry awards. 'Computer Games' charted at number 1 in Australia, no. 2 in Los Angeles, no.2 in Canada, charing in around 20 20 countries. Other hit singles were 'People, 'But You Don't Care' & 'Space Race.' They split in 1984 with a final single released in 1985. Vocalist Steve Gilpin died in 1992 from a car accident. The group reformed for live shows in 2011-12 with a new vocalist Steve Balbi from Noiseworks.
