Formed in Melbourne, Australia 1981, the world-renowned duo of Brendan Perry & Lisa Gerrard have ventured from their early post-punk gothic dark wave rock, into ethereal dark ambient, medieval, rennaissance and through a wide range of world music. They were most active from 1981 to 1998 with a reunion world tour in 2005, a new album in 2012 and lengthy world tour through 2013. They've released 8 studio albums, 3 official live albums and several compilations. The 1996 album Spiritchaser reached number 1 on the USA Billboard 'World Music Albums Chart'. Lisa Gerrard has composed for and sung in numerous movie soundtracks including Gladiator.
